As previously hinted at, The Crew will take its racing action to more tropical shores later this year.
Ubisoft has revealed the first trailer for The Crew Motorfest, which is set to take place on the island of O’ahu in the Hawaiian islands. And even though we merely got a taste of what’s to come, it looks pretty good thus far.
The game has been seeing some interesting comparisons to Forza Horizon when it comes to its car models, as well as destructive environments and beautiful tropical settings. But, of course, it’s a massive world where you can pick and choose different events where you can conquer territory over your fellow players.
But here’s what’s interesting – a beta test is beginning for the game today.
Those of you that own a current game console (PlayStation, Xbox or PC) will be able to register for Ubisoft’s Insider Program in an effort to give the game a try. Granted, it won’t all be open to you, but you’ll be able to take it for a test drive and see what Ivory Tower (the developers) have prepared thus far.
All you have to do is go to this page and register. You may want to hurry, as the beta test won’t last long!
The game will arrive later this year, with a release date likely to be announced in a few months.
Don’t have a new console that you can play The Crew Motorfest on? Don’t worry, we can help with that thanks to our giveaway!
